Ingredients for 10 units
- 35 oz flour.
- 0,615 pints lukewarm water.
- 1 oz bakery yeast.
- 8,8 oz sugar.
- 10 oz lard.
- 4 eggs.
Elaboration
- First you have to mix the lukewarm water, yeast and sugar.
- Then add the whipped eggs and the sifted flour to knead.
- Cover the dough and let ferment during 45 minutes.
- Them make individual portions of 3,5 oz.
- Next smear the table with lard and stretch the dough and smear it again with abundant lard.
- Coil it into a spiral form.
- Leave it to ferment approximately for 10 hours.
- Finally bake it in the oven at 350º F for about 30 minutes. Leave it to cool and dust with glass sugar.
